About Us

Samuel K. Swenson, CFP^®, CFA, CPA

Sam is a CFA charterholder and New York State Certified Public Accountant who has worked in the financial services industry since 2010. He began his career at Goldman Sachs as a hedge fund controller in the fund-of-funds group, focusing on accounting and financial reporting. In 2015, he transitioned to a client advisory role at Credit Suisse, which later became absorbed by Wells Fargo Advisors. 

Education

• MBA in Accounting and Finance, Cornell University 
• BA in Economics and Environmental Studies, Amherst College

Services

Sam is passionate about creating independent, ethical and objective financial plans on a Fee-Only basis, with a specific focus on those to whom traditional financial advisory services are inaccessible. Sam is also specifically interested in working with millennial clients that have broad financial planning questions that can be competently answered on an hourly or fixed-fee basis.
